Your questions answered

    • Adults aged 18 years or over who have been living with fatigue for 6 weeks or more.

    • This may be as a symptom of a health condition such as: an acquired brain injury (ABI), fibromyalgia, cancer, multiple sclerosis (MS), ME/CFS, Parkinson's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, Long Covid or HIV.

    • If you don't have a diagnosis, I can still help. However I advise that you first see a GP to rule out any underlying causes.

    • In order to get the most out of the assessment and fatigue management programme, you must be able to participate in online video sessions lasting at least 30 minutes each without experiencing significant exhaustion, worsening of symptoms, or post-exertional malaise.

    • I am insured to support people living across the United Kingdom.

  • Occupational therapy is an allied health profession which is regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council in the UK. Occupational therapists aim to enhance the wellbeing of individuals by supporting them to participate in the every-day activities, roles and routines that they want or need to do.

Occupational therapists help remove barriers to participation, such as those caused by persistent fatigue, and can advise on modifying an individual's activities or environment to better support their needs. It is a holistic and person-centred profession - we are interested in what matters most to you.

  • The length of each sessions can be adapted to suit your needs - usually between 30 to 60 minutes long.

The overall length of an assessment or programme, and the price, will however remain the same.

I will strive to offer you appointments at a time and frequency that suits you.

  • All sessions are delivered online via Microsoft Teams, allowing you to access support from the comfort of your own home.

You do not need to have a Microsoft Teams account to participate, but you will need a computer, laptop or mobile device with access to the internet and preferably a webcam.

  • Unfortunately, I cannot cure your fatigue. However, I will try to help you feel more in control of it. My aim is for you to come away from the programme with the knowledge and techniques you need to be able to better manage your fatigue, reduce the worsening of symptoms, and be able to participate in the activities, roles and routines that are important to you.

Chronic fatigue and the range of conditions which cause it are such that outcomes will vary between individuals and specific results cannot be guaranteed.
